Hearing Examiner Decision on Amendments

The Kendall Yards Preliminary Plat and Planned Unit Development (PUD) were approved by the City of Spokane Hearing Examiner in 2006. An updated plan, which reduces density and building massing and scale, has been submitted to the City Hearing Examiner for review of the proposed amendments to the approved plans. For more information about the changes to the PUD application click here to read the Narrative and the Exhibits that are currently under review by the City of Spokane and other reviewing agencies.

Provided below is the draft Planning Services Department Review of Kendall Yards Application for Amendments to Approved Kendall Yards PUD and Preliminary Plat File Number: Z2006-06-PP/PUD. This document contains comments on the proposed amendments that were received from city departments and other agencies. This report has been submitted to the Hearing Examiner.  The Hearing Examiner will be reviewing the comments related to the changes to the approved project as proposed by the applicant.  Following review of those comments and reviewing the proposed changes to the approved Kendall Yards PUD/preliminary plat, the Hearing Examiner will make a determination regarding whether the proposed changes are substantial enough to result in the need for a public hearing.  If a hearing is required by the Hearing Examiner, public notice will be provided and public testimony will be accepted during the public comment period.
